Subject: Desperately need HELP! Silent Install, Multi-user, data folder in LocalService directory
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: 8.0
Reproducible: Always

I created an installation package for multi-user using InstallShield Tuner 6.0 and Lotus Notes 8.0 (Standard).
After I ran the package on Windows XP, I realized the following:

Note : I customized Transforms file (.mst file) to install program files in C:\notes and data files in C:\notes\data (it doesn't matter what I set for data folder for multi-install, though....)

1. Workspace folder was created in C:\notes\data\
When I installed multi-user from Lotus Notes 8.0 (Standard) CD, the C:\notes\data\workspace folder didn't get created. (just C:\notes\)

2. Data folder was created in C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\
Data folder should be in C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\

In attempt to fix those two problems, I did the following :

*** Disabled Symantec anti-virus on the system
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=463&context=SSKTMJ&context=SSKTWP&q1=multi-user+localservice&uid=swg21246563&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en

*** Added "AllUsers=1" in "Windows Installer Command Line Arguments" in Transforms file (.mst file) - so it looks like this : /qb!+ ALLUSERS=1

I then ran the installation package, but I got the same problems.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Also...I would like to hear from anyone who has been successfully silent-installed Lotus Notes 8.0 for multi-user. If you are willing to share with me what you have done, please email me (hpage AT accuride DOT com).

Thank you in advance for you help! :-D
